fashion swap meet mechanics

  1. Interested parties are to submit filled-up form by email. There are two types of registration forms: (a) purely exchange and (b) sell and exchange.
  2. Purely Exchange: for girls who will have their items exchanged for other items without paying anything aside from the entrance fee.
  3. Sell and Exchange: for girls who wish to either sell or trade their items. She can bring one friend so each can take turns in manning their booth and roaming other stalls. Items should only be sold for an amount of P200 maximum.
  4. Registrants will be contacted if they make cut-off for the fashion swap event. They are instructed on how payments can made - P500 (for purely exchange) and P1,200 (for sell and exchange, valid for 2 people) as an entrance fee through BPI/East West/Gcash.
  5. 60 to 80 participants per event.
  6. Participants are emailed an e-ticket upon payment to confirm their participation. Participants are to print out this e-ticket to be presented on the day of the event.
  7. Fashion swap meets will be held on a Saturday/Sunday 1-5pm, unless specified otherwise.
  8. Participants are required to come on time or risk the chance of getting the best bargains. They are required to bring a bag-full (or more!) of clothes. Shoes, accessories that have been laundered and/or cleaned. They can collect items from family and friends… so long as they think the items would be appreciated by someone else.
  9. Participants will be given name tags at the Check-in desk. Tangled spangles rep will count the number of items in the bag (number to be written in the tag). Participants will be directed to their area. Assigned areas will be labeled with girls’ names.
  10. First 30 minutes is for set-up. Tea snacks and mocktails will be served.
  11. After the 30-minute grace period, participants may begin to shop, collect items, limited to a maximum of the number of items they brought in for EXCHANGE. Items to be sold are not counted. (sell and exchange participants can take turns with partner in shopping and manning booth.
  12. Everyone goes home happy, rid of unwanted stuff in exchange for “new” ones J
  13. Remaining items will be donated to the homeless.(except for the items in sale , unless they decide to donate)
